Knot Garden

Has anyone tried a knot garden? I want to do one. I found a small, simple elegant one at Hills and Dales Gardens in LaGrange, Ga., that I want to copy. It has a simple knot pattern which uses burgundy barberry and boxwoods. I know they are a labor intensive, but they are pretty.
