I would like to solicit any advice to successfully growing strawberry plants in GA. as well as what I will need to do once these bare root plants arrive. I've never ordered them this way and am not sure what to expect.

I am about to receive a HUGE order of bare root berry plants, most of which I have resold to others and many that I intend to plant in my garden. Any left over will be potted up and sold at my local farmers market, probably over the next few months.

I want to make sure that I do whatever is necessary to keep these plants fresh and healthy while I'm waiting for folks to pick up what they have ordered from me.

I also want to know if pine needles as a top dressing will be adequate to give them the ph that they need?
