Give Me Some Space!

Went out to the mailbox this morning to deadhead pansies and discovered that someone had backed over it. Had really nice edging around it and also a trellis for the clematis. All that is ruined now. About a month and a half ago my nextdoor neighbor backed into my truck. I guess all this just comes with the convenience of intown living. Didn't like the mailbox anyway.

I'm sorry Roseman. Are all the plants are ok?

I think this type of stuff happens no matter where you live...Some kids went through our neighborhood a month or so ago, smashed our mailbox and a bunch of others. Several years ago, this other kid that used to live across the street from me, put his parents car in neutral and ran it into my brand new 23' travel trailer. Oh and a few weeks ago, different kids did the same thing and ran their car into my neighbors kitchen!

Makes you want to move onto 100+ acres somewhere and have your house smack-dab in the middle.

What happened to the "Whiner's Only" thread anyway? All I've done today is whine! Good luck with your mailbox bed Roseman.

Thanks for the encouraging words. There are some flattened pansies,but I think most of the plants will be okay.
