...From everyone! I'm getting a nice list going here in the heuchera forum. I'm planning on this spring's purchases to be...Among others...

GREEN SPICE (WOW)
SPELL BOUND
MAGNUM
SWEET TEA
MARMALADE
VENUS and
GUNSMOKE That's a pretty decent start, thanks again and please, if you see something you like enough to show another person, please don't hesitate to add something to one of my threads...This is like hosta shopping for me, except it's heucheras...I'm having just as much fun searching for heuchies as I do shopping for hostas. It's finding a group of related plants that make you go !!WOW!! and THEN you realize there are MANY cultivars available!!

You all are my new enablers, (That is, if you'd like to be) and I thank you profusely for it! ; )

Hostas, Ferns, and now Heucheras. Now THAT is a TRIFECTA

These are not huge heuchies, but they are quite stunning. PAPRIKA (OMG gorgeous) and RIO (waves color in your face). They are both of the dark and light orange color range and are utterly beautiful. My Midas Touch is coming back to life now as well. It burns easily, but in shade, it's a beauty, too.

Hi Esther, that's quite alright, I was just looking for a few bigger varieties to plant with some larger hostas, so they won't be too overwhelmed. Any size works for me, in general. Thanks for the info on these varieties.

Nice picks, Don. I think you should be happy with those. I own most of them myself and I like them.

I agree with Esther. Both 'Rio' and 'Paprika' are must-haves for color. This is a picture of 'Rio'. My 'Paprika' is still small yet, as it's one of the few I have that dies all the way back in the winter.

Here's what the new growth on 'Green Spice' looks like. It's pretty bright. It changes to the darker green with purple-red veins later in the season. I think the color change is kind of fun.

Since you like 'Green Spice' so well, here's another one you might take a shine to. It's called 'Marvelous Marble'. I think it's a WOW too.

You also picked 'Gunsmoke'... another variety that I like. The smokey purple color is really unique on this one.

Don, when you look at Heuchera, consider the differences between Heuchera, Heucherella, and Tiarella. Sweet Tea, is a Herucerella, you can tell by the red center in the leaf, it will not need dividing near as ofter, if at all, as a heuchera. Tiarella, never need it, but cant handle sun at all.
There is no red better than Berry Smoothie, it just glows. And its a strong plant.
Sashay is a Big plant, with large dense leaves. It grows fast.
Spellbound is stunning.
Stainless Steel is big, and unusually colored.
Its an addiction.
That the bottom of the rose are Beaujolais, Pinot Gris, FireFly.

Flower_Frenzy, Thank you for posting photos. I just planted a little Paprika yesterday. Heuchera's are new to me and I'm making a list of wants. I also picked up Georgia Peach. My want list so far is Marmalade, Carnival Watermelon and Rio. How do they do in the heat and humidity? I love color. Another obsession is starting. It was clematis, then, azaleas and now heuchera. :)
