Beautiful! Is that Hosta planted in a hollow log or is that some kind of planter? I really like it. What is the little green and yellow striped grass plant? Sorry I have so many questions! LOL.

The Japanese forest grass will outgrow that spot pretty quickly though slow compared to other grasses. I love them too, my biggest is three feet across 'All Gold'.

Which Brunnera is that in the log?

Thanks everyone. Yeah, that's a Hakone grass, but I think the heuchera are going to outgrow the grass before the grass has a chance to get very big. The brunnera growing in the log is King's Ransom, starting to grow a little now that whatever that had been chewing on it stopped. The log used to be in a vivarium when I had pet tree frogs, and since I have no other use for it now that I don't have the frogs anymore, I put it out in the garden. It's hollow inside, the frogs loved hiding in there.

I've never seen such a variety! I have always known them as Coral Bells~~is that just one patricular variety or the 'informal' name for the entire species? They look awesome w/Hostas! ;o)
