Okay, I'll bite. This my first year with heuchera. I have collected several. Attached is a picture of Peach Flambe and Bressingham Coral together in a planter that I built. So excited to build some more planters as my ground is very difficult to dig because of roots.

Is that a Palm tree behind the planter?

I love your idea..In fact, I was was sure mine would make it through a winter in a planter, I would do the same.It's very nice. Love the colors and your idea.

That's a sago palm in the background. Planted by a prior homeowner. It's extremely slow growing which is fine with me as I don't particularly care for palms. I have attached a pic of my Caramel Heuchera. I have picked up some more lumber to make a planter for the Caramel. The Heucheras do much better for me in planters than in the ground.

Havent had success growing any perennial in pots here in 5, freeze and thaw gets them. I am glad someone has started posting here again. I got a few new heuchera at end of season sales and might take a picture or two if the frost doesnt get them.

cakbu, do the leaves on the Caramel change color?

I just got the Caramel in late spring. Here's a picture of it when I potted it. It has grown very well considering it's start. I don't know what color changes it will go through as it's new to me.

Here is my Caramel, pic taken today.
It's Fall colors are red tones on top of the central leaves.

The Summer coloration on this Caramel looked just like Cakbu's Oct. 28th pic post.
