Giant Ant Problem

We are moving to Kaua'i in October. Just got the termite report and it says that while there is only old evidence of termite activity, there is a huge ant invasion in the house and giant ant mounds under the house. The mounds are giant not the ants ... The "largest" he's ever seen ... this is going to cost us close to $4000 dollars to remedy. Does this sound like a "rip-off" to you who are Hawai'i residents??? (This cost includes bagging the guest cottage for termites/ants.)

We want all poisoning finished before we move in. So waiting isn't really an option.
