Fading and Wilting!

Hello everyone! I used to post years ago on the daylily forum. My question is which daylilies wilt or fade the most in the heat or sun for you?...a fair warning for the rest of us buyers. Or...which dayliles hold up the best!

In our Long Island heat wave I have made some discoveries. For me, Newberry Cherryeye has been a wilt machine in this heat, Sebastian (a purple) I don't even recognize anymore, and I have some pinks that have been just horrible. Webster's Pink Wonder has held up amazingly well (and it's only in it's first year)! Malaysian Monarch still looks good, although the beautiful violet color certainly fades somewhat but it has not wilted. Although I love it during different weather conditions, my Charles Johnson almost totally looses it's color! Thanks for your insights. Andrea
