have you considered checking with area theatrical supply houses? My husband and I work in the industry (rock and roll concert lighting to be exact) and block and fall are a common find in a lighting warehouse. If you can locate them via that source they should suit your weight needs and most should be rope style.

You might check with Tractor Supply(TSC), I believe they have stores in both the USA and Canada. Here they have the block and tackle, donÂt know about Canada. They will order if not in stock.
