Carla Emery will be stopping in Halifax, PA (near Harrisburg) and doing a presentation on Monday, June 7th. Everyone is welcome. If enough folks are interested, we can have a potluck dinner before the evening program. Please PM me if interested in coming.

For those who may not be familiar with Carla, she is the author of the 'Encyclopedia of Country Living' which is a wonderful,comprehensive book about gardening, raising anumals and all facets of sustainable living. She will be speaking on various topics from her book and will have copies available to buy. The event is free of charge, though if a lot of folks are coming, I may end up holding it at the local firehall, in which case I will ask each person to contribute $1 towards hall rental.
