Making pickles...am I in the right place?

Hello all,

I'm not sure this is the right forum to ask, but I thought I would throw it out there and see!

I'm growing a bumper crop of cucumbers this year called "picklebush". They're doing great but not ready to pick yet. Unfortunately my dill plants are ready! Is there any technique I could use to save the dill while I'm waiting to harvest the cucumbers? I would love to use the fresh dill in the jars of pickles!!!

Why don't you dry the dill? I don't think it would freeze well.

We have the opposite problem. Cukes from the greehouse are coming in, but the dill is not ready..

Actually, it freezes just fine! I trim just below the see head, rinse and sort of fold upwards to flatten. Place in ziplocs until the cukes are ready.
I seem to have this problem every year!
