Get or make shelf units with screened doors. Use butcherblock, or 2 inch thick planks for counters.

Just carry your woodstove out there from your regular kitchen ;-) You will need a chimney to hook it up.

When we build our retirement home...I want a summer kitchen for preparing garden produce and canning...I plan on a deep sink and counter, cabinets, large harvest table, a bottom of a turkey fryer to use for canning..you know the propane one>

Yes! DH and I are collaborating on a more or less permanent installation--an outdoor kitchen he can bill as his 'awesome bbq setup' to the boys, and I can bill as the ultimate harvester adn multiuse outdoor kitchen (plus some, like the ability to smoke our salmon, can in bulk, clip out the solar food dryer, set out starts in early spring....

Who knew I spent all that time getting an engineering degree in order to go into autocad to design a bbq station for fun :)
