Lucky you! I can't wait to get my order now. I'll have to look those up that you ordered as I can't picture most of them.

OK, just looked yours up. Nice selection! I especially like coral Cay, banned in boston and Cupid's cowboy.

ok, now I need to see someone's Calgary Stampede. Tinker's shows one purply looking and one red/orange looking. Not real similiar....Anyone have pics? I don't know where to put it. Thanks, pat

I was just reading your order...all sounds lovely...except Calgary Stampede.
Does anyone that grows this notice that the flowers open way down amongst the foliage. Mine is only a first time flower from a very new fan...but this is my photo...I am quite disappointed. Maybe it will improve.

Happy J,
Thank you for the photo, I am glad I got it now. I will store this thread and let you know next spring about the bloom height. Maybe you will get some more answers here. If not, start a new thread with your question.

Pat

Sounds like everyone did really well with their orders.

I got mine today!!!!!

Holy toledo, she is one fine, hard working woman! She dug my plants on labor day & emails me as late as 10:30 at night to give me updates & to merely speak about hybridizers! I wanted real purple dls & she went out of her way to tell me which ones were too red & recommended a few. Kind enough to tell me which ones didn't grow well here where she could have just sold them to me. She spoke about you Pat! She said she has been very busy since you posted here on GW.

This is what I got:
Destined To See
Mildred Mitchell
Purple Pinwheel
Isle of Dreams
Grape Velvet
Dallas Star - only $2!
Indian Giver
Moonlight Orchid
Raptor Rap
Spiny Sea Urchin
Bonus':
Freudian Slip
Purple Many Faces

See, I do have some taste for the goodies that are oldies! Every one of them I searched this site for pics before buying. If it wouldn't have been for all your posts...

Thanks Pat, couldn't be happier!

I think it is only right to do her right by posting our positive experiences on Garden Watchdog.

Looks like your will be busy planting too. Sounds like your new daylilies are great.

My South Wind order is to arrive Mon or Tues. Can't wait. 3 on my order were sold out.Gaye recommended subs and gave me the choice of a refund or to select other DLS. Of course I took the DLs. Because the 3 were the more expensive ones, my credit worked an order of 17 into an order of 21 with the sub list. She is very considerate and a great help.We will have to keep an Eye open in the future for her Intros, as the sale we are now enjoying is in support of clearing space for a new breeding program. We have had many emails back and forth as I was helping my sister in MO. select an order of 22. She is very much talking as one DL lover to another. She works in downtown Kansas City Kansas. My sister lives in a bedroom community of Kansas City Mo. Gaye is going to meet with my sister in the city to hand off her order. Gayes idea. That is service. This order of mine is the first DLs for my garden. I do not have any concerns that the plants will disappoint. I'm just EXCITED! Thanks Pat. Thanks Gaye. Elizabeth
