I tried growing some calabaza in my sandy SW Florida soil. The seeds emerged, but only gave me 2 inches of growth before it stopped growing.
I want to try again, but this time I am going to buy a few bags of topsoil, start the seeds, and then plant into the top soil which I will have in the sand as a mound.
Can I expect better results?
