Hi your in next town nice!! Right now working on planting trees. Just had hot tub put in will need to do some planting forscreening.

Hi I'm in Wallkill, NY. Been gardening for a bit but still don't know too much. Learn as I go. Just had retaining wall reconstructed. My winter project is to make a new design for my plantings.

This used to be a very active forum. Lots of regulars have gone. I'm up by the Ashokan Reservoir...lots of wild animals and ROCK!
Ticks have been awful this year, but the garden is doing well.

It's been nearly a year since I've logged on to the forum, have to get back in the habit.

I'm still gardening and loving it just blogging about it instead of updating the forum - gotta work on that.

Hey all, im also in Lagrange. anybody get hit hard by that freeze and snow last week?

I am only there weekends. Today all my fruit trees seemed about to flower. Fingers crossed. I heard Lagrange got 5 inches of snow, 1 hour south in White Plains we got none.

I have about 20 fruit trees. A friends daughter works part time at local orchard, she said they where using smug pots trying to save some apple buds. Between low chill hours then frost going to be bad year for local fruit.

Bummer :-/ I'm a big fan of apple picking over at Barton.

Hello I'm gardening in mid Hudson Valley near Kingston. I only grow deer resistant plants due to deer browsing in my back yard. So upset about all the trees being killed by invasive vines, has anyone else noticed this?

There's a lot in my garden too. I've started spraying it with vinegar. It seems to be killing it.

I have ended up in ER from PV I use crossbow on it works better then round up.
