A local apple grower told me that he learned from his father that the only time one shouldn't prune is Sunday.
Apple orchards around here were pruned last month so I expect now is as good a time as any.

Thanks, today looks like a good day to get out there with the pruners and get some fresh air in my lungs.

I pruned my wisteria today. Late Feb.,early March is good.
