On April 5, I asked about the same question on the Upstate forum, but I got so impatient that I went out on Thursday 4/7 and just did it: uncovered, pruned and fertilized with Rosetone. Everyone is doing fine, even after a couple of nights hovering around the freezing mark. "Ya gotta believe!"

Forsythia not blooming here yet but I did uncover and have been doing a bit of pruning and fertilizing. There is going to be hard freeze tonight but the roses should be OK. I suspect Endless Summer is going to freeze back but those are the breaks.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't hear about the hard freeze tonight but I am going to go for it on Sunday. Wish me luck!
