Is West Hurly convenient for you? There's a place on Route 28, east of route 375 that has big piles of the stuff to sell.

I'm not aware of a name, but in my address book, there is an entry for "Woodstock Mushroom Soil", 679-0244.

I don't have an address. Heading west on route 28 from Kingston towards Woodstock, the soil place will be on your right. It is on the near corner of a significant right turn shortly before route 375. On the far corner is I'm saying a Mobil station, my wife says a Stewarts. I think the right turn might be Van Dale Road, but this may be wrong.

As vague as this sounds, you really can't miss the place.

It's on the right corner, at Zena Road across from Stewarts, 4 and a half miles west of the Kingston traffic circle on rt. 28.

I still have a ton of it in my yard which I put only on my ornamental beds. I wouldn't use this stuff on my food. Why? There are things in it that are questionable like plastic bag pieces, lumps of gray clay, pavement gravel, and who knows what the horses were fed whose manure was used to grow the mushrooms. Besides, there are NO WORMS growing in it or in the soil under it. There's something about it that living soil animals don't like (except for ants and soil roaches in the pile). The flowers like it though.
