Never did get lettuce planted but I did have broccoli raab tonight out of the garden. Not the first harvest which is always the Egyptian onions.

My garden is a sald feast these days. I'm so glad I got the seeds in early (mid March). Chard, kale, lettuces, vitamin greens (from Johnnies), beet greens, dill (reseeded from last year), parsley, violet leaves. It's so nice not to have to buy this stuff!

Every year I'm foolish enough to plant new dill and cilantro seeds, then the self-seeded dill and cilantro come up. At some point I'll have dill and cilantro in every bed.

Yeah, I'm real happy with the salad green progress. A few weeks ago, I looked at the scrawny little plants and felt real stupid knowing I'd have to pull half of them up when I planted tomatoes. Now that I'm pulling up big, eating greens, I don't feel so stupid.

Meanwhile, my parsley -- nothing. I know parsley takes long to germinate, but I need some positive feedback.
