Town of Newburgh Rose Club is hosting the annual convention of the NY District of the American Rose Society on September 7th and 8th in Fishkill. The 7th will be a consulting rosarian school but the 8th is a rose show open to all though there is a $45. fee to register if you want to enter roses.
It will be in the Holiday Inn on Route 9, just north of I-84 and that show should knock your socks off as rose growers from all over the state compete. Should be open to the public around 1 PM though the exhibitors have a deadline of 10:30 AM. There will also be some informative talks in the afternoon.
