Help for a former dinning room

Trying to come up with ideas for a small room - used to be our dinning room but we flip flopped that with what used to be our formal living room. The two rooms are attached so I need some idea of what to do in there... Room is about 9 x 12... Hard wood throughout. Could I do a small office? Sitting area ?? Help!
