Let's see...the big leaves on the right side are banana trees. Got gobs of those growing in an enormous "clump" - I can't get rid of them. I tried thinning them out but they grew back with a vengeance. Now I just leave them be and trim back the lower leaves when I can no longer walk through my back gate :o)

Other than that there's mandevilla winding around and along the porch support beams and a big yellow datura in the background and some of my ipomoea ochracea (yellow morning glory) vines as well. Sure wish those would start blooming :o)

Do the hummers use the mandevilla? Nice pic. by the way.

I have several mandevillas that are blooming now - nice big yellow flowers too - but have not seen any hummies frequent them. There are some right next to the feeders and the hummies don't even give them a first look...let alone a second one.
