Hummer forum lurker here...

This is my first year feeding the hummers. I am just estatic that my two local resident hummers are still with me. This one in the photo taken this morning is a bossy one! He sits in his tree and guards my entire back yard. The other one gets in once in a while, but most of the time has to resort to the passiflora vine and Iochroma around the corner of the house. They're both getting quite used to me and will fly up to the feeder even with me as close as a couple of feet away from it. I'm new to watching/feeding hummers so I couldn't tell you what kind or sex this one is. hint... hint...
