I did post to that site yesterday but it has not shown up as of yet.

I was wondering if this was the site you posted too. I know that this time last year there had been postings on the map. If things go as normal it should be between 2-3 weeks until I see my first one. Put out my feeder yesterday.

I'm in Central Florida and I've been looking for them. They are usually here just a few days after they've been seen on the Gulf Coast. If you have seen one that means that others should be around.

Tom123, I live in Palm City (Martin County). I really feel this was a migrating hummer. Have had a feeder up for a year and never had a visitor. Took it down for a week or two and then just put it back last weekend. I work full time so my only chance during the week to watch it is early in the morning, lunch break and after work. Weekend is almost here so I can keep a better eye on it. Have my fingers crossed that others will find it.

Mimidi, on the Journey North map, there are 3 postings. 1 Ala. and 2 Fla. They send me weekly updates. My hummers usually come the week of the 20th of March. I'm putting up my feeders next weekend. I'm getting really excited. It's so fun having them, but a sad loss to lose my pretty yellow finches. They seem to move north just as my hummers come.

I still stop by occasionally. I am moderately busy right now getting my Hummingbird ideas and plans all in order and sowing seeds for this years hummer garden. Yes I am already pumped and have already purchased another feeder even though it is still in the 20's up here.

Hi Penny. I still stop in here too! I'm anxiously awaiting the hummers arrival in PA but we do have awhile to wait, don't we? They will come and I'll be ready for them.

Charlotte in Middletown

We have had hummers here since December. I put up two feeders and I have four birds visiting. 1 female and 3 males. I missed them since I moved from S. California but I have found them again...(or should I say they found me?)
