That is very interesting. I hear a woodpecker at my mothers all the time. I wonder if she'll get a hummer there? We have a lot of blooming flowers around already but still getting tender nights. I have had dianthus all winter though.

My dianthus stays green all winter but of course it isn't in flower during the winter. This year since we didn't have any snow to protect it the other leaves got a lot of windburn.
