Maybe a yellow breasted chat but they are pretty large around seven inches

Someone mentioned a female scarlet tanager & I think that's a possibility although I've not seen any at my feeders.
I get a LOT of orioles at my hummer feeders. I'm not familiar with all the different orioles, we only have Baltimore (Northern) orioles, but that's another possibility.

Is this guy really getting anything , his beak is not very long and with the beeguards on there I dont see how hes able to reach the liquid, whatever the case he must be a pest.

Why not fix him some in a container he will be able to drink from and see if he does.

I think you've got a female yellow warbler there - the males are a very bright yellow. It's relatively shy bird that spends most of it's time in the tree tops. Very cool!

I'm not sure how she's reaching the nectar, but maybe she's finding bugs to eat that are also attracted to the nectar. She might help keep the dreaded ants and bees away. Consider her a bonus and keep an eye out for her mate.
