Congrats Donna!! What state are you in? Looking at the migration maps I see that they are in Virginia already! Seems to be a few days earlier than last year. I saw my first here in NJ last year on April 2nd. I have had a feeder out for over a week now. :c)

I am in east central MS and the migration map showed sightings in our area much earlier than I actually spotted the male yesterday. I have had 3 feeders up for several weeks, so I could have easily missed one or two prior to yesterday. It's so exciting to see the first of the season!! Hope it's a great one for everybody!

My first is usually during the 1st 10 days of April - so about 2 more weeks.

Southwest VA here. Just put my feeder up and hoping!!! I am so excited that some of you have seen them. I feel like a happy camper knowing they'll be here soon....SS

I had my first one show up on Thursday 3-18 he stayed for 2 days and I haven't seen him since. Oh well he will be back.

Well down here in Central Florida we have not sent them all your way yet. Yesterday not only did I have a female Ruby but also both an adult male Ruby and a adult male Rufous. They should be leaving soon.

I've had one guy here (in Tucson) all winter, though he didn't come every day. Now there's a little female that comes several times a day and I'm crossing my fingers that him chasing her means there will be little hummer babies soon!
