Hi....guess everyone has their own preference of feeders. I use the Perky Pet 209 (16 oz) and 8 oz glass feeders, all with perches. I always have several First Nature feeders (Walmart) and they are much easier to clean than the others, but don't put into the dishwasher. My hummers love both of these. All feeders probably have to be replaced after a while. I usually purchase 2 or 3 new ones each season so I will have a replacements should one break, etc. I have not used any from Wild Birds Unlimited so have no idea how they work. I am in the deep south, so as our summer temps rise, cleaning is every 2 or 3 days.

My little hummers seem to love my feeders and during south migration, I will have literally hundreds at a time...keeps me busy everyday!

I also have several different kind of feeders. I always thought hummzingers were guaranteed for life. I have one of those. The cheapest and easiest to clean and most durable I find are the 16oz first nature feeders. I have several of those and neve a problem with them fitting tegether. I also have a pp209 30oz feeder not as easy to clean the base but I need it for migration.

I like the first nature feeders, very easy to clean. I had a male hummer feed from window feeder this morning, a one port feeder, that hangs from an "arm." I will wait to put out
hummzinger window feeder later when I notice more hummers, as my hummers prefer the other feeders.
