I have some of the same kind of feeders! I like that there is a perch, that the bulbs are glass, and that the entire top comes off the reservoir for easy cleaning. Those are the only ones I been able to clean thoroughly.

But I hardly ever see more than one hummer at a feeder at a time. When I do, it is always just 2 females. And I've discovered it is nearly impossible to place multiple feeders around the back yard where they can't all be seen from SOME spot where the males can watch them all.

I like the Best-1 feeders for all the reasons you
mentioned, plus one - they're made in the USA.
The ports need to be modified so the HB's beak
doesn't have to enter vertically, but any handyman
worth his salt can do all 8 ports in 3-4 minutes -
a small inconvenience for such a good feeder.

Another good feeder that I used for many years was
made by Rubbermaid. It was well designed and easy
to clean, but I haven't seen them in stores for a
long time. Its only negative was that the bottle
was made of thin plastic, and after 2-3 years of
exposure to sun and vinegar, would become brittle
and crack. The 1st picture below is of the only
one I have left, which is never used.

The 2nd and 3rd pictures below are of small,
rainproof 1 and 2 port feeders that I use away
from the house at the edge of the woods. The
more aggressive males like to claim these and
chase all others away, which gives the less
aggressive males and the females a chance at
the cluster feeders.

I got mine from Audubon Workshop. The hummers are perfectly happy with them as they are. They look the same, but perhaps there are some slight differences.
