I wish everyone could post an exact photo any plant in question.

Hmmm,,,a possibility might be Hoya lacunosa Royal Flush. Small leaves and color would depend on how much sun it receives. With more sun the leaves turn the deep plum and vine does too. Just a guess!,,,,Debbie

Here is a link that might be useful: Hoya lacunosa Royal Flush picture

I was thinking

Elsie, RFG is right, a picture is really needed for us to be able to help out much. MANY MANY Hoya leaves turn purplish red in moderate to high light. ^_^

If you purchased your Hoya at a big box store, you might consider going to the EA website and looking through their Hoya selection, as it is likely to be one of theirs.

Good luck!

Maybe Krimson Queen?

Are the leaves big or small? Hoya australis ssp. tenuipes new leaves are often dark red/burgundy.

This post reminds me of the blind lady joke, where she is feeling an object to know what it is. Just post a pic or refer us to a pic pnline, paste and copy the html code. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions. It turns out to be Hoya Carnosa tricolor.
