Hummingbird Garden

It's a MALE!

Got my first male sighting tonight and got so excited I almost peed myself! My poor hubby who is recuperating from his triple hernia surgery got upset cuz it hurt him to laugh at me and he couldn't move fast enough to see too!!!! None of the neighbors have their feeders or flowers out yet. Maybe I'll wait a couple of days before I share...nah...the more the merrier!!! IF he's just passing thru and I don't see him again, y'all take care of him for me!!!

I saw 3 males, two yesterday and one today, I have my feeders out.
I'm fairly new to hummers, when will I begin to see them regular?

That depends a lot on where you are, lahummers. Hopefully we'll all see them regularly now!!! Once they get here...yesterday...and they stake out their territory, then the females get here and they will be in the yard all the time! That makes me one happy hummer watcher! I'm going to HD and Lowes and Walmart again today to see what more I can find!!! Next year, I'm going to start my flowers earlier than I did this year. I really hate waiting for the blooms!
