I put out my hummer feeder here in north central San Antonio last Monday. Tuesday I saw a VERY GREEN with black neck (not certain about the head)! I didn't see any for the rest of the week with fresh nectar daily... THEN- I am soo dumb! I realized that this feeder has to be pulled open for the nectar to be accessed!! So the hummer that came got nothing and think this restaurant sucks! Will more come by? Are they just in route to somewhere or living here? I have never put feeders out here. I feel bad that the hummers in Montana area won't have a feeder now where I usually am in the summer...
