I put the saucer feeders that I made in the dishwasher b/c they are made from food grade plastic and they are dishwasher and microwave safe but I haven't put the commercial made feeders in the dishwasher.

Rob, yes I put mine in the dishwasher, except of course the plastic jar by hummzinger. After they come out of the dishwasher, I rinse in hot water removing any soap residue. I do use a brush as well. Been doing this for years with no problems.

Thanks Penny and Donna. They didn't melt, and looked better than when I clean them by hand. I'll rince them in hot water after the dish washer next time.

Hi Rob - I have the little Hummzingers(ASpect 8 Ounce) and I absolutely put them in the dishwasher. I usually only do this once a week, and the rest of the time I just rinse with hot water.
The feeders look brand new even after many dish washings.
