Hummingbirds love sage blossoms, impatiens, cardinal flower, coral bells, hosta, and snapdragons. I've also seen them on my lamium and read that they also like crososmia, balloon flower, delphinium, phlox, bee balm, and torch lily.

For a shrub, honeysuckle is tops. I've also heard that they like butterfly weed, but none of my plants have survived long enough to check that out. Stay away from trumpet vine--if established it becomes a rampant invasive. I've been fighting for three years to eliminate a huge growth of it that someone planted before me.

I might have some seeds or divisions that I can share, but I'll have to check. Spring planting, weeding, and mowing is overwhelming.
