Where did my hummers go?

20 years ago

Ok when I first put the humming bird feeder out 2 weeks ago I had 2 different hummers that I saw for sure within 3 days...now in the last week there has been none that I have seen and the nectar isnt being drunk

I havent changed anything...what has changed is the weather it got rather cool for a while and especially at night...

do the humming birds stay for a certain time? Do they leave because it gets cool all of the sudden?

I know they migrate...so what made them decide to move on here...

I have flowers...a Bird bath and a nice feeder with fresh nectar..and a big oak tree for shade...

what would cause them to stop feeding all of the sudden?
