Great Idea-I was using Q-tips and an old toothbrush. Still no sightings of hummers in my yard and lord knows I have enough plants that supposedly attract them.

I saw my first one a couple of days ago. Then nothing until about two hours ago. I saw one visit the feeder then jump over to my hanging fuschia. Then she was gone.

I am really pleased with these little mascara brushes. The feeders really do clean up like new. I've been cleaning off and reusing the brushes, and they hold up extremely well. So much easier than pieces of paper towels pushed through the ports with toothpicks. :)

Thanks I just ordered these wands from ebay. I had been using a port brush I bought from ace hardware which worked ok but after a couple of seasons it finally broke.

Im glad you gave the link for ebay cause I couldnt see me walking in anywhere and buying something like this,ha ha!

I'm sure they've seen stranger things. ;)
