The wait is over

Finally the male is back "home" again. He must have been thirsty, as he stayed on the perch for the longest time. There are very strong winds today, and it must have helped him somewhat, as he's a day earlier this year.

I will forever be awed at the GPS skills they use twice a year.

congrats hummernut......I'am near grand rapids and had my first male yesterday.....I hope the cold temps we are getting tonight wont scare him off

esrungg- I'm in Kazoo county, so both of us had the chilly temps last night. Have you seen your male yet today? I have not seen the male from yesterday, just those silly house finches on the feeders. Yesterday, a B. Oriole came twice, but he's a no show today also.

I have not seen the male since yesterday am.......It was 37 here this am
this has never happened to me before. The first male I always see stays...so dont know what to think.......
