Horticulture course.

Hi everyone! It's been ages since I posted last, I hope everyone is well. My silly expensive pachyclada that I got on ebay bloomed for me this month! So happy about that! My multiflora is going nuts and my surrogate bella has flowers ALL over it.

I recently started taking a horticulture certification course at the university here. I LOVE it! I was stressing the last year or so trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life. I finally realized that I can work at what I love. The course is amazing, its full time for 8 months. This goes over everything from naming Annuals to basic greenhouse production, pest management, soil science etc. I am the only one in the class who is quite as crazy about indoor plants which is kind of neat. We have to do a 3 week practicum in April at a place where we would like to work. I am thinking right now that I would love to go to the Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton, AB. There arent many places in Canada that are all indoors(not that I dont want to be outside, I just love the tropicals).

Anyways I just wanted to share a bit about this with some fellow plantaholics! Im very happy an excited about where this might lead. They even have a hoya in the greenhouse at school! A poor sick, mealy infested Pubicalyx of some kind :( I will try to take care of it though!

Here is a link that might be useful: Muttart
