Nicknames Again :)

Hi everyone,

To some newbies wondering where I get the names for some of my hoyas, here is one of the shows (which I adore, even I was born in the 90's and it's an 80's show lol) where I got the names for my plants. Well, at least mindorensis has anyway (Jem/Jerrica). Still thinking of a few plants that I can give some of these character's names to. What plant wouldn't love to have these names:

The Holograms:

Kimber (plays keyboards)

Shana (drums and later guitar)

Aja (lead guitar)

Raya (she was later; took Shana's place as the drummer)

Synergy (hard to explain without giving too much of the show away).

The Misfits (the rival group; always causing trouble):

Pizzazz

Roxy

Stormer

Jetta

Now I forget what instruments the Misfits played specifically, but Pizzazz has green hair and Stormer has blue hair!

Anyways, sorry for getting off topic. Here is the theme song. Anyone remember it? As for my plants, the lacunosas I'm getting will be getting some of these names.

I was Aja a few years ago for Halloween. Not to shamelessly self-promote my blog again, or anything. ;)

Mike, LOL!!!! That really made my day!!! Thanks for pointing out that I don't have any of my plants named after those wonderful ladies (RIP Estelle, Bea and Rue AKA Sophia, Dorothy and Blanche). I'm shocked myself since I own all seven seasons on DVD.

PPG, I just wanna say hello to a fellow Jem fan (I started watching it only this year as they're showing re-runs on a channel called The Hub) and you and your friends look "Truly Outrageous" in those costumes! Did you guys do the costumes and make up yourselves?

I don't remember Jem at all, but for some reason I definitely recognize the theme song. Weird. 80's cartoons were so great. My username is actually a character from the British cartoon Danger Mouse which ran in the 80's.

PPG, those costumes were great, but I laughed pretty hard when I saw the Reno 911 costume. I don't know if I could spend a whole night in those tight shorts, lol.

Brad we were all in charge of recreating the costume and make-up for the character we chose. :)

And our Reno friend WAS pretty uncomfortable, considering it was a kid friendly party geered more for them than the adults! It was classic.
