My hummers use the gartenmiesters, but not as much as they do the salvia's.. black and blue and lady in red... I had a similar begonia last year and they looked at it a couple of time and then went on about their business without a backward glance! It's convinced me not to try a lot of "new" stuff as long as the old standby's work!!! I've been concentrating on different salvia and agastaches however you spell them!! Will see what happens!

Have you ever tasted [put your tongue] on the gartenmeister? It's quite sweet! I "tasted" the bonfire ... and there was nothing there. I don't mind trying new things because they are beautiful anyway ... I can still enjoy them, even if the houseguests don't.

I still have my gartenmeisters, they certainly won't be replaced ... but it's funny, my hummies don't care about my lady in red or blue slavia ... but they are out there anyway!

Under UV light the bonfire is really stunning ...but I guess the hummies can judge a book by its cover!

I saw the same exact plant at a nursery last week and I was intrigued as well.
