I have an oversized window box with nasturiums Empress something or otherbut haven't had a single visit. They are beautiful but are also aphid madnets.

I had planned to look for some red nasturtiums, but didn't find any that looked pretty. The red, to me, looked like a faded, washed-out color.

Anyway, the little guy even checked out the forget-me-nots this morning

My hummers use the nasturtiums I grow occasionally also. I have both the bush-type 'Empress of India' Penny mentioned, and the regular vining-type...easy to grow from seed and the flowers and leaves are nice in salads. The bright colors attract them; but the nectar content probably disappoints them, I suspect. Not a first choice for them, but a cool garden plant!
