Hi Everyone!!

I guess who ever said "necessity was the mother of invention", hit the nail right on the head. You see, it's been raining alot and it kept getting into the nectar so I decided to get a "hummbrella." But I was not prepared for the sticker shock. So off I went to Walmart and purchased those floor saver saucers for plants and with a can of cherry red spray paint made my own. I brought the 8" one(.97 cents)for my PP upright and it works great. I assume for the hummzingers one would have to secure it with a wire or nut and bolt but its works. Also I guess depending on the size maybe a hummzinger would require a 10" or 12" saucer. Just make sure you measure the diameter of the saucer to make the hole right in the middle. That way it won't be lopsided. I don't come up with many ideas but I hope this works for some. Have a great hummer day.
