Kinda bummed

Hi everyone:

Got my first SRQ order last week. Was so happy that it made it through without being snagged. I had 2 buotti cuttings (wanted more but not available) and one has lost all of its leaves. The stem is still green, but I'm not hopeful. The other cutting is starting to fade. They looked quite good when they came too. Maybe it is just too late in the season for rooting? That will teach me not to get the bug until late August! Well, just thought I'd share my disappointment, as I am very new to ordering outside Canada...thanks for listening.

I have to tell you . . . I have killed SO MANY of that particular cutting, it's not even funny! Don't give up. It's a tough one to root.

Kelly let me see what I can do because I have a rather large plant of buotii and I plan on mailing another parcel out to BC in the next few days.
Perhaps it would be better for me to root it first?

Thanks wrynsmom. Good to know about this plant. It really bummed me out for some reason. Life is kinda sucky right now I guess, and I just felt so sad when the leaves dropped. I'm usually not this wimpy.
