No Ken, I don't think that it is diseased. I may take you up on your offer, I have 4 or 5 divisions and if you would monitor it for me it would be appreciated - OH but not the yellow one.

And maybe I'm not using the right term, the stem is not streaked, just the leaf. I showed it to Van Wade a few years ago and I think he is the one that suggested that I divide it. Oh now I remembered, he suggested using BAP 10 on it to speed up the changes. Is that what it does? I did not do that-I didn't see any and then I forgot.

I haven't been active on the forum for a few years but am enjoying it again.

how about trying a pic ... now that you have 2 replies since your last post ...

streaked hosta are rarely streaked down the petiole.. just the leaves ...

there is no proof that all streaked plants from a given mother are the same.. meaning if my BG streaked.. it isnt necessarily the same as your streaker or vans ..they probably are.. my gut tells me.. but no one is going to pay for DNA testing to prove it one way or another ... and if yours is different than IATrail ... that might prove my point to some extent ...

I gave a division to a friend to watch for me and she just sent a picture and her plant looks much like Ice Age Trail. But one of mine does not,hmmm I wonder if they will all be different or what is going on.
