Stan thank you so much for letting everyone know why I haven't been to the forum.

And many thanks to all of you for being so thoughtful. Hubby is taking a nap so I thought I would jump online for a minute just to say hi to everyone. He goes back to the dr. tomorrow to get his cast off and the stitches out and then they are going to put him in a walking cast if all goes well (fingers crossed). He is planning on going back to work on Monday as the company is bringing in a wheel chair for him if he will come back to work. It could take up to 3 months for his leg to completely heal but he will be able to do simple tasks hopefully sooner.

Hummer activity here still isn't that good but I do at least see one or two a day. I did have 3 one morning at 3 different feeders at the same time but that only occured once. I also definitely have a mature male (he is so cute). Try to keep an eye on him as I know he will be leaving before long.

My Dreamsicle is blooming like crazy and it is gorgeous. Now I am fighting the Japanese beetle. Have about 60 today in a bucket of soapy water

My hummer activity has increased so they are on the move.
Bring hubby down here, y'all can sit on the porch and sip
a big glass of tea or lemonade and watch hummers and other birds all day.

welcome back, penny! glad your husband is progressing and that your dreamsicle is blooming. I'm so glad they came up for you there because I didn't get a one and I wondered if I had collected/stored the seeds wrong. deadhead it, and it will keep blooming again and again all season.
