We shoot with Canon S3 and S5-IS cameras, usually outside on the deck. Getting clear shots thru window glass is very difficult.

Unbelievably beautiful, Kenn!! I've had hummingbird calenders with photos that pale in comparison. Great focusing job on the "dynamic" one, perfect exposure on the translucent flight feathers. My favorite is #3, it has a 3D quality (no pun intended). Good contrast between the vast dark green background and the 2 gorget feathers. It seems that he's being illuminated from below; was light being reflected from something on the ground? The posture of #1 reminds me of a Belted Kingfisher.
