The other evening my family was sitting down to dinner when we heard a loud thud on the screen door. My hubby went over to see what it was and when he opened the door he said, "Oh my gosh come here!" I ran over and on the front porch lay a male hummer. I think he knocked himself silly for a few seconds because before I could even take in what happened he flitted and suddenly took off. Later my daughter went out on the porch and we found feathers stuck to the door. He didn't run into the screen part it was the aluminum part. Poor little guy, I took a walk around the yard to make sure he wasn't laying there hurt. I hope he's okay.
