baby hummer on the ground!

Hello folks! A friend of mine posted a photo of a baby Hummer on the ground that could not fly. She has placed it on a little nest and it has been drinking from a bowl....I told her to watch for Mom. Anybody have any thoughts or instructions? She is in the Toledo area.
