Agastache in Florida

I'm contemplating planting some Agastache under a Crepe Myrtle in my front yard next year. Agastache isn't indigenous to Florida.

Anyone have any insight to the wisdom of planting it? Would it even survive? All the info I see says Ok for Zone 8/9.
