Sugar water storage

I'm going on vacation and I want to store water for the hummers, so my son can change it and keep it fresh. I'll be gone for two weeks. Can it keep in the refrigerator for that long? This is a very important time for the hummers and they are feeding very frequently. I want to keep them happpy so they return next summer. I love them!
